Ener‑Vate supports Energy from Waste providers and energy infrastructure operators to unlock the potential of heat networks, both from new developments and existing assets.
We work with clients to maximise the use of low-carbon heat sources, including Energy from Waste plants and emerging opportunities such as waste heat from data centres. These sources offer an efficient way to deliver low-carbon heat at scale, often located close to areas of high demand such as mixed-use developments, residential schemes and commercial sites.
Our role is to help turn these opportunities into viable, deliverable projects, from initial concept through to commercial structuring and delivery.
We support clients with heat mapping to identify suitable demand and potential connections, alongside technical and commercial assessments to understand the impact of heat off-take. This includes detailed commercial modelling to assess feasibility and explore different delivery and commercial structures.
We also provide support across project development, including working alongside legal teams, developing and negotiating Thermal Purchase Agreements, and preparing the documentation required for planning and permitting approvals.
Alongside this, we help develop robust heat network business plans and support stakeholder engagement to secure commercially viable customer connections.
