Jo is a proven Contract and Business Development Manager who has many years’ experience of building and managing relationships with key stakeholders and in turn delivering profitable contracts for both district heat schemes and microgeneration technologies.

Divyansh joined Ener-Vate in 2021, having recently finished his degree in Renewable Energy Engineering at Coventry University. He is looking forward to using his skills and knowledge of the low carbon energy sector.
David joined Ener-Vate in 2023 with a vast industry knowledge from his time in energy companies across the UK.
Peter joined Ener-Vate in 2023 with a wealth of experience from within the low carbon decentralised energy sector.
Jonathan joined the Ener-Vate team in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience within the decentralised energy and low carbon energy sector.
Jordan joined us in 2022 with experience in the design of heat networks from his previous role within a large national heating and ventilation solutions company. Before that, he completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters by Research with a focus on Sodium-Nickel Chloride battery systems.
Sam joined the team in February 2024 with a degree in Engineering. He primarily works on our Strategic Waters projects.
Thomas brings a wealth of experience across asset and project management with a particular focus on funding applications, management and financial modelling. Thomas studied at the University of Chester and graduated in 2018 with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Geography.
Tharina joins Ener-Vate with a wealth of knowledge from her time at Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Sarah joined us in 2019 to co-ordinate and support the business administration and marketing function of our growing team. Sarah has a wealth of experience and skills across all aspects of business administration, marketing, and digital media.
James has worked in energy project development since 2012. He has an in-depth knowledge of assessing the viability of an opportunity and progressing it through the planning process, he has also led on contractor liaison and coordination for the Mersey Heat district heat network in Liverpool.
Sam joined us in 2017 to carry out all internal and external accounting tasks. A very experienced and knowledgeable office professional with many years’ experience in organising and delivering vital support to the growing team.
Andy joined the Ener-Vate team in August 2018, after studying Chemical Engineering at Newcastle University. With proven experience in finding innovative solutions to complex problems, Andy is an integral team member focusing on commercial and thermodynamic modelling, and procurement support.
Lina joined Ener-Vate in February 2024 with a wealth of business analysis and strategy management knowledge from her Masters Degree.
Scotland based John Maslen joined our growing team of specialists developing and advising in the commercialisation and delivery of low carbon heat networks. John has a wealth of experience and expertise within the sector and will bring an Ener-Vate focus to our current and growing presence within Scotland.
Barbora supports our Senior Consultants in all aspects of heat network development, particularly in liaising with clients and a wide range of key stakeholders. Barbora’s main focus is on Ener-Vate’s expertise – EAMS (Ener-vate Asset management service) – available for clients with already built heat networks who wish to keep the performance of their network as efficient as possible while proactively managing their contractual obligations and mitigating any negative impact on customers tariffs and charges in the long term.
Sue joined Ener-Vate in 2023 with a wealth of Sales experience. Sue supports key stakeholders by gaining a detailed understanding of their current and and future energy and low carbon needs and works collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes.
Mark joined Ener-Vate in 2020 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the development of District Heating Networks and is a huge asset to the company. He principally works on schemes in the south and south west of England.
Natalie brings experience in the contract development, negotiation, management and delivery of large-scale District Heating Projects, whilst building and managing strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients
Drew joined the team in November 2018, after finishing his Electronic & Electrical Engineering degree at Loughborough. Focusing on the research, development and aggregation of both traditional and ground-breaking energy technologies, Drew hopes to continue bringing success to the ever-growing Ener-Vate team.
